The Wooden Cave is Tenon Architecture's first project and it entails the complete renovation of an existing space in Hyades Mountain Resort. The curved wooden interior was designed and constructed on site by Tenon's two founding members.

The Wooden Cave has been widely published for its innovative design and manufacturing. In 2020, it was nominated for the "Building of the Year" Awards by ArchDaily and has received numerous awards, such as BigSee and Wood Awards.

The main room is made up of a continuous curved wooden structure and the secondary spaces are oriented towards the view and covered in dark stone.
This division intends to create a clear distinction between the hard, “protective” shell and the curved, “inviting” interior, reminiscent of the form of a cave that has been used as a refuge and a haven throughout human existence.
