HOLLOW SERIES

The hollow bones of a bird are structures that balance between structural integrity and lightness producing curved forms that bridge their walls to create a truss-like interior.

We study these forms as sculptural guidelines of the “Hollow” series, trying to understand their outstanding geometry and logic. Forms that provide a vast amount of creative paths, as their study explores the lines between biomimicry and biomorphism in architecture and art.
